Installation expectations

• Teletrack clients expect high quality installations with minimal disruption.
• Speak to the client directly to understand their requirements.
• It is always a requirement to:
  • have good GPS and cellular signal
  • not interfere with any existing vehicle systems
  • fully test all functions using this installer page and if unsure contact Teletrack for advice
  • ensure the tracker is installed in a discreet location, ideally hidden from view
  • tracker is securely mounted to avoid any movement or damage
• When wiring in a tracker it is required to:
  • fit the ignition wire to an ignition source
  • when installing into machinery have accurate engine/motor hours using the input 2 wire (unless CANBUS connected)
  • ensure all wiring is properly insulated and secured to prevent any electrical issues
  • wire the power directly to the battery or a constant power source that cannot be interrupted
  • if there is a battery isolator you will need to fit a diode to prevent backfeed
• You as an installer take full responsibility for the installation and any damage caused.
